Annual Catholic Appeal
The Archdiocesan Catholic Appeal has a direct and powerful impact on parishes, schools and agencies providing educational opportunities and care for others through the many outreach programs and projects in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Sacred Heart Parish benefits each year from this Appeal. Cindy Bova (636-937-4662) coordinate the Appeal at our Parish.
Finance Council
The Finance Council meets quarterly to review the financial reports of the parish. They are constantly looking for ways to help Sacred Heart Parish continue to be good stewards. Steve Bacon is Chairperson 636-209-0808.
Money Counters
Each Sunday morning the weekly offering is counted and deposited in the bank. There are several teams of money counters that perform this duty each week. Call the parish office if you are interested in helping.
Quilt Social Worker
Sacred Heart has an annual Quilt Social in the fall of each year. It will be held on a Sunday in October, date to be determined. There is always a need for kitchen and bingo workers for this event.
Stewardship Committee
Stewardship is a way of life. It includes our Prayer, Participation, and Payback. It is a way of living each day in gratitude for all the blessings that God has given to us. The roots of stewardship can be found in the Bible, which tells us over and over that God is the Creator and Giver of all gifts. It is our responsibility to show our gratitude to God for these gifts, by giving back to Him the “first fruits.” We do not own the gifts God gives to us. We are only here on earth to use those gifts to do God’s work. The Stewardship Committee co-ordinates the annual Stewardship Sunday effort.
